I was a UI/UX Designer at Edufied and one of the projects given to me was Udenna Land's System which consists of the Applicant side (user side) and the Company side (admin side). The design of the system is minimal and straight to the point since it is a system that aims for user convenience rather than for marketing and engagement.
Emphatize. Plan. Design. Test.
During the first phase, the Empathize phase, I coordinated with the Project management team regarding the specifics of the system which includes the client requirements and the users of the system. The main users of the system would be their applicants or customers and also the company which consists of different users depending on their roles as approvers. I determined these users' needs and how the system will help with these needs. I also explored the existing system of FilPass since some functions might be useful for Udenna Land as well. The Project management team and the CEO helped with determining the contents to be included in the system. Then, I proceeded with the wireframing and designing. In the Design phase, I designed the system based from the wireframes that I created in the previous phase. I also created prototypes for the system in which I tested in the Test phase. In the testing phase, I was able to determine what to improve with the design and also took into consideration the CEO's and the Project management team's comments.
