I was a UI/UX Designer at a Singapore-based company, Edufied and my tasks include creating UI/UX design for the FilPass Website which is Edufied's Philippines-based company. I specifically created the UI/UX design for the Solutions page of the website. The details and content were already given to me and my job is to create the design of the webpage in line with the company's Brand Identity while also considering the users' perspective.
Emphatize. Plan. Design. Test.
In the first phase, the Empathize phase, I already know the users of the website which are the potential clients and users of the company's services. These would be companies, agencies and individuals who are looking to have a secure way to store documents and issue certificates and IDs. I determined these users' needs and how the Solutions page will help with their needs. Well, mostly the Solutions page is for showcasing the Company's ID which others can also register for to receive merchant discounts and vouchers. I also explored the existing pages of the FilPass website where I determined its overall look and feel. The contents to be included were already given to me so I just proceeded with the wireframing and designing. In the Design phase, I designed the webpage based from the wireframes that I created in the previous phase. I also created prototypes for the page in which I tested in the Test phase. In the testing phase, I was able to determine what to improve with the design.
